Rachel is a Founding Partner of Motivo Insights with more than 16 years of experience helping leading brands uncover and elevate the customer voice in critical business decisions. With a PhD in Sociology, she brings deep expertise in research design and a passion for applying the latest behavioral science to unlock meaningful insights that drive growth and impact. At Motivo Insights, Rachel partners closely with clients and her team to translate complex customer needs into clear, actionable strategies that maximize brand potential.

Outside the office, Rachel can be found running around local mountain trails in Colorado, competing in 50- and 100-mile ultramarathons, or traveling with her husband, Roger, and their dog, Mellie the Munchkin.

Co-Founder and innovation strategist who uncovers the ‘why’ behind decisions, and keeps 60+ houseplants (and her dog) thriving while diving into books and new ideas

Muna is the Co-Founder and Strategy & Innovation Lead at Motivo Insights, bringing more than 14 years of experience in market research, strategy, and behavioral science–driven innovation. She leverages her academic background to design research frameworks that uncover the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral drivers behind decision-making for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Her expertise spans multiple therapeutic areas where she partners with clients to tackle complex challenges and deliver actionable, story-driven strategies.

Outside of work, Muna is an avid reader across behavioral science, psychology, and storytelling. She is also a passionate plant enthusiast, caring for 60+ thriving houseplants, and enjoys hiking with her dog, traveling, and discovering creative ways to connect ideas and people.

Associate Director who turns complex research into strategy and still finds time to chase fitness goals, soccer matches, and the perfect post-workout meal.

DJ brings over a decade of experience in pharmaceutical market research to his role as a Associate Director at Motivo Insights. With a foundation built during his graduate studies in Marketing Research at Temple University, DJ has since led global qualitative and quantitative initiatives spanning oncology, rare disease, cardiovascular health, and beyond. Clients value his collaborative style, clear storytelling, and ability to deliver insights that not only answer key questions but also uncover new opportunities for growth.

When he’s not working with clients, DJ is usually traveling, playing or watching soccer, or experimenting with new workouts to push his fitness goals. He enjoys exploring diverse cultures and cuisines, drawing inspiration from his experiences living and working in multiple countries.

Fiona is a Manager at Motivo Insights, with more than 15 years of experience in market research and insights, specializing in online community-driven approaches. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Systems Technology from Cornell University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Based in Austria, she represents Motivo Insights’ EU-based team, where she partners with clients to uncover meaningful perspectives to guide strategy and innovation.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, and paddleboarding, as well as traveling and exploring new places with her husband and daughter.

Finance and Operations leader who keeps Motivo running smoothly and finds balance through skiing, yoga, and family adventures in the Utah mountains

Jenn has overseen Finance and Operations for Motivo Insights since the company’s inception. After studying economics at Boston University, she built 18 years of experience across finance, investments, accounting, and consulting. She has also founded her own business and coached others in doing the same. In addition to Finance and Operations, Jenn oversees Human Resources and Compliance for Motivo and is well-skilled at wearing multiple hats. A committed environmentalist, she authored and published a children’s book (“The Vegan Toucan”) that promotes environmentalism, kindness, and veganism for younger generations.

Outside of work, Jenn enjoys hiking, mountain biking, skiing, yoga, and live music. She lives in Park City, Utah with her family of four.
